| Ok, I just can't get over this picture. I've got to give the Frankfort, NY snow removal crew a big congratulations for managing to keep our roads open when winter decides to get ugly. This is a really big snow plow! And you can see how much snow it is trying to move. I shot this picture one cold winter day as the plow returned down the road in front of our house. I bet its first gear never gets it over 5 mph. But this is not the end of the story. When this plow can't do its job, they bring in the blower. The blower fits on the front of a construction vehicle, and it has 2 or 3 rotating screws one on top of the other. It just eats snow banks and blasts them up in the air. And then the road is clear...
